At first read this seemed extreme. But then I remembered my comments from a week or two after reading the complaint, along with the limits of the ITC. This is all about if it can be imported, with notes saying if it was made in the US (assembled? How much of it here?) that this wouldn't be a problem, at least from the ITC. So then the question is if Apple can just turn off this feature with a software setting and let the user turn it back on (it saves battery life too by not having it accidentally turn on, so it's a feature ), or if it has to be turned off in a non mutable way...though potentially turned back on in the future with a software update after the issue is settled. Hopefully they can figure things out in the coming months, though it might still take years.

I came across this and thought that it may provide a look at how much technology has improved and how inflation has worked in reverse. Only a couple of minutes long. Cray-1 (1978) vs iPhone 13 (2022)

Is it just me, or have we skipped the typical "Apple cuts production orders" headlines that we usually see at this time of year, from Nikkei and Digitimes and the like?

Is it just me, or have we skipped the typical "Apple cuts production orders" headlines that we usually see at this time of year, from Nikkei and Digitimes and the like? To me, it felt like we had that early, in the first week. With analysts knowing that the AVP will get a lot of attention just before earnings. I could be wrong, and Nikkei and Digitimes may still strike.
