Using the average QoQ growth rate of the past 3 December quarters I'm coming up with 61 Million units. I am NOT factoring in the allure of iOS7 (which I think will be strong) or any lower cost models, just historical average QoQ growth for the December quarter. Doing the same with everything else I'm coming up with December quarter revenue of ~$61 Billion. Think about how Guidance for that kind of Revenue will sound to the Street.

Ideal long setup this morning would be lower low (than yesterday), then reversing (up) above yesterday's LOD. That would be the buy trigger, with a stop below yesterday's LOD for day trade or today's LOD for swing trade. (Yep, this would be Redler's Red Dog Reversal.) Investors, of course, can buy anytime. But least amount of timing effort for optimizing results (best bang for your TA timing buck): wait for daily MACD-h slope to go positive (means you have momentum at your back, not in your face). Might not get the absolute low, but you won't be riding red after you enter, which is psychologically beneficial for some. ;D Doc has posted about MACD-h entry/exit recently. Mace and I posted about it on AFB1. It remains, in my estimation, the best Timing for Dummies. Did the mornings action meet your definition above of a buy trigger? Speaking for Ms. IPad, it definitely did. Reversal took place at 486 at the open of trading - eclipsing the 486.30 low from the previous day - and was good for a ride to 493.83 about 15 minutes later. If you can recognize these things, it definitely beats working for a living.

Greg - have you explored a MicroCell from AT&T? You can negotiate with them on it and then tell them you do not want an ongoing fee. I got them to agree and it worked for our family. I used to have a good signal at my home but after "Sandy" the towers didn't give me enough signal (maybe how they were rebuilt - not sure) - so I got ATT to agree to my terms and purchased the MicroCell - maybe it will work for you too. Worth exploring.
Anybody using T-Mobile for their iPhone? I've been with ATT since the first day the iPhone came out. I'm responsible for about a dozen iPhone sales and another 5 iPad data p[lans. I'm having a signal problem at my house (caused by location of their tower) and to fix it (signal booster) ATT wants $240.00. Fine,
I'll move at least 4 accounts somewhere else. Let me know.

Do you think that "one more thing" is ever coming back at the end of any presentations? I think its been long enough since Jobs' passing that TC, Schiller or Federighi could do it, and get away with it. I know I'd love to hear someone say it. I'll bet if its done it brings the house (figuratively speaking) down. It would sure light up the blogosphere.

My attempt, which led nowhere, was through tech support.

Wait - MicroCell doesn't support LTE though, does it? I guess partly because most home connections aren't LTE-speed-spec (not even 50Mbps).

Yes, I got the MicroCell for free and then there is suppose to be an ongoing fee that they said I wouldn't have to pay either.

Greg, Most of the Wilson electronics cell phone boosters get pretty high reviews on amazon and would not require ongoing fees. Some of them could also be used in the car and the house.
I had att before switching to tmobile. I would say the service is similar, but our monthly bill is now $95 instead of $190-240.
We're using a 4 and 4s, so don't have to worry about LTE. Voice coverage is probably a bit better with tmobile and data a bit worse. Overall, Verizon coverage is far superior though.
Would love to be able to purchase the next phone as a globally unlocked phone that I could truly use on any network.
Even better would be an MVNO service that would combine access across GSM and CDMA networks. Pipe dream, but would be nice if technically possible.

With the appropriate stops, so you have defined risk. 493-495 area held, but support/ resistance "usually" does the first time. So that's now our resistance area. Let's see what happens on the retest of support at 486-ish.

IF there is one. I'm not sure at this point.
The more I think about it, the more I want to see AAPL struggle with lower prices for a little while. It's a better technical narrative for when iPhone arrives.
So I'm OK with <480, maybe even <470, because there's bounce potential as long as things don't get too out of hand.
_Ideally_, I'd like to see AAPL keep consolidating in that two-week parallel channel and break out with some gusto - now _that_ would be a nice move from a descending channel. It'd be pretty damn bullish, too, considering AAPL hasn't even reached the 23.6% retrace level (master uptrend) yet.
But that's kind of my "omega bull" case. We'll see, whatever happens I think the parallel channel will be highly useful. Can you tell I'm a fan? ;D

A purported new iPad... it will be thinner, lighter...faster. Look for it in October. Can't wait for the thinner, lighter iPad...she really has been eating too many Doritos lately.
