Since the day was slow and things will likely stay quiet for awhile ( next week) I will throw out my advice for one of the things apple could do with its spare cash. I'm sure joney and Tim read this thread nightly. Apple needs to buy Dyson. If apple is moving into the whole home Dyson would be a good way to get into the whole house. The company is stuffed full of great engineers who love great design and " think different". They look at everyday products and reimagine them and do boatloads of research and testing to reinvent. If they agreed, apple would have a huge engineering division in England and France, and James Dyson on the team. Then they could go all in on home appliance, smart lighting, industrial design etc. etc. John Ivey and Dyson would probably really hit it off. Dyson would have the money and r&d backing to just go nuts .

Type and proof of alcoholic beverage is a _very_ important term to sort out before negotiations can be finalized, is my guess. (/borkenrecord)
It IS a multi-billion deal after all

Tuesday is an Apple launch day, and it's Tuesday in China now. Does Apple finally confirm this tomorrow?

Supposedly China Mobile is following up its 11/11 deal with a 12/12 special. Pre-order window? Meanwhile, China Mobile doesn't actually switch on the 4G network until 12/18. One day, three days, nine days...not long to wait in any case. Amusing to see China Mobile Suzhou jump the gun again. ;D Nope, China Mobile (Suzhou) doesn't need Apple _at all_. Neither does China Mobile (Shanghai). Or China Mobile (Beijing), which put up mini-photos of the iPhone 4/4S last month for some reason. And don't pay any attention to the at-least-somewhat-preexisting...er...China Mobile messaging app called Fetion...that has a version for...iOS...? huodong.feixin.10086.cn/zhuanti/index.aspx?ID=232en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fetion

The iPad mini retina _did_ launch on a Tuesday, now that I think about it. It's not ALWAYS a launch day, but Apple does like their Tuesdays.
