No, not yet. It will be my next work machine when Apple releases its own 4k cinema display. I'm giving them until next September to launch it. The resolution of a 30" 4k machine will give me far more screen real estate than my legacy 30" cinema display, which still draws oohs and aahs in the workplace. The Sharp display looks decent, but I'm reading that it may have image retention issues. For now, let Apple sell the Sharp off its website to pump its FQ2 sales number.

China Mobile...reservations? now underway.
A deliberate decision by Apple and China Mobile to put off the subsidy matrix for a little while, or is China Mobile closer to the vest with this kind of stuff in general? Who knows...I've never paid that much attention to China's carriers' subsidies, but I sure will be now.
It'll be easy enough to compare against "last-known" China Unicom/Telecom subsidies (which seemed pretty similar) once the on-contract pricing becomes known.

Michael Blair has been seeking alphas resident uber bear on AAPL, and anyone following his short advice over the last 6 months would have been burned badly. Now here he is throwing his dozens of previous negative pieces on a fire with a huge flip flop to an uber bullish $1000 price target. Pure page hit whoring at its finest.

That's not particularly brave, what is that, about 12-14% a year CAGR?

Bear capitulation of any kind is welcome. Seeking Alpha is a joke, of course

Bear capitulation of any kind is welcome. Seeking Alpha is a joke, of course There are some good analysis there. Just need to ignore the FUD. I see institutional rotation into aapl in the next two years. Google and Amazon just need a couple bad quarters to initiate the stampede. We went from 59% at 390 to 61% at 565. Every 1% will give us $100. I see 65% ownership by Feb 2016 and we should see 1000 then. I don't expect a p/e higher then 17 by then. Unless aapl can grow net come 50%.

iPad Hope the trade works out for you. AMZN hasn't had its TSLA moment yet I guess.

Curious about your bearish thesis. Maybe in Other Stocks?
Merry Christmas all, btw! No need for a separate thread. ;D

And in our family, Apple under promised and over delivered. An iMac and a photo book were delivered before Xmas, after these items were both scheduled for delivery after Xmas. Very nice surprise.

interesting CM numbers: 760 million customers
170 million have 3G data service.
How many of the 170 million are already iPhone owners?

Technically, zero. EDGE isn't 3G.
But I guess if it's a 3G/EDGE or nothing proposition (meaning CM customers on iPhone/EDGE are overpaying for faster data they can't use)...I dunno.
