When I opened up the old board it would take me right to the message I was last reading and now it doesn't. Is there a setting for this?

Don't know if anyone is watching but Frontline (PBS) is airing a special right now about insider trading...focuses on Raj...SAC....etc. It's excellent - unfortunately some of these faces are more than just familiar to me. What were these people thinking? But hey....someday maybe we'll be watching something about market makers and option expiration...who knows? Anyway - if you aren't engrossed in Housewives of Atlanta you may want to turn this on.

Always liked her and still do but ... lost an immense amount of respect for her when she did the Vogue photo shoot and posed seductively upside down in a lawn chair. She set women in business back a few years with that one. I don't want to get started on that topic given some of the neanderthal opinions expressed yesterday. Best to let old sleeping dogs lie.

All due respect Phobes, but . The idea that a woman has to be asexual in (and out of) the workplace is feminist nonsense (sorry for the redundancy). Should she wear a burqa to fool us that she is hot? Don't give me that neanderthal stuff. Prudish notions like this are the real Victorian throw-back. Men are men, regardless of what PC rules the sex police want to impose. Your only choice is if they keep it to themselves, or speak their minds out loud. I really don't want to live in this wussified country we are turning into, like Pajama Boy. Good for Mayer that she is a hot mama. It's the main reason why she has gotten so much attention to date. Let's hope for Yahoo's sake she can live up to it.

My prediction is that CES this year is a bust. A big yawn.
In Apple-related news, Micron beats the street. Normally, that would be good for a stock that does business with Micron (hint, hint). But who knows...

There is no good news for AAPL.
Samsung phone sales poor? That's because the whole industry is sinking. Micron doing well? Must be despite Apple, not because of it.
Even if Apple reports good results: It's a one-off, next quarter will suck. Good results and good guidance? Their next quarter might be ok, but after that earnings will suck.
And so on...

I fortunately never saw the "upside down in a lawn chair" photo, but I agree with your reaction. Image a photographer asking a male executive to pose that way?

How come every time I block a new person, the other accounts I blocked become visible again?

Only 8 degrees in NY right now... That's -13ºC for our friends in every other country. Why we in the US are stuck with a pre-industrial, pre-scientific system of measures is beyond me. Does the iPhone have a thermometer? Has the API been accessed by jail breakers?

Why upend what every American knows and is conformable with to be like other countries? "In some countries, they eat cats." - Frank Barone.

Plus you would the lose ability to say "inching along" when talking about the share price.
