Good morning ~ markets abroad looking a bit red this morning as do the US ones. Nothing in the news this morning worth mentioning about our fruit company which is virtually flat to unchg in PM. $522 continues to have gravitational pull - would love for it to go there and then bounce strongly (it's like ripping off a bandaid - let's get it over with already)! Not seeing any catalysts this week to get this thing moving....looks like continued sideways/rangebound price action.

It is still another good day to own TSLA. Perhaps they will eventually become the largest car company in the world, and the law of big numbers will catch up to them. Until then ...

Ben Bajarin wrote a small article about the hurdles Apple TV will face with content providers and studios. The comments have some interesting ideas which are easily in Apple's capacity to take on. atbenbajarin.com/apple-tv/

Ben Bajarin wrote a small article about the hurdles Apple TV will face with content providers and studios. The comments have some interesting ideas which are easily in Apple's capacity to take on. atbenbajarin.com/apple-tv/Interesting article. I have been thinking about Apple TV too. I am just engaging in extreme speculation with this comment. With the proposed acquisition of TWC by Comcast, the landscape of the companies that connect to the home will shift a bit. In the next 5-10 years the traditional CTV operators will likely be gone. These companies and others will become pure play ISPs and will offer connected home, streaming media and phone services. If Apple is unable to strike a deal with Comcast. Imagine if Verizon and AT&T were to team up with Apple to offer some sort of enhanced ISP services using Apple TV that is exclusive to their subscribers? There could be a cheaper model with fewer features for everyone else. Apple already has a relationship on the cellular side of the house with these companies. Why not on the ISP/Pay TV side? Apple has launched the iPhone on a carrier basis why not Apple TV? Could this be what Jobs is reported to have meant with his "cracked" comment? This could be a strategic move to combat Comcast's growth and might result in negative churn for Comcast in favor of subscriber growth for Verizon and AT&T. Just a thought. Maybe it is crazy talk but...
