Apple's buy rating reiterated at Jefferies Group. $625.00 PT Jeffries downgrades iphone sales for this qtr (below street) but maintained a Buy (Peter Misek)
If we get a dividend increase, when would be the mostly likely timing of it? Anyone have a good guess?

Nice technical bounce for markets. You got a stop level to trade against.

Basically, he calls Apple a "fashion business." Give me a break.

Basically, he calls Apple a "fashion business." Give me a break. I'm not sure what the speaker was trying to illustrate with these three charts other than his own bias. The first one clearly shows a drop in net income after 1983, so perhaps Steve had lost the magic in '84 & '85? The second chart show the period from 1986 to 1997, which was between 17 to 28 years ago. Relevant? And the third shows net income for 1998 to 2012 with no regard for any other indicators of company health.

Anyone expect an annoucement on cash before earnings? Or does everyone figure it'll he announced during earnings again this year? I'd love to see a dividend increase of 25% and a 100B buyback

I'd love to see a dividend increase of 25% and a 100B buyback In the midst of a mid-day bump back up to 538 (oy!) let me offer a guess: 1) We get the cash announcement before earnings...The Board will have met in Late March, early April 2) Dividend increase of 15% 3) Increase in the buyback to 110 billion....

In other news, Office for iPhone and Android is now free, and Office for iPad (included with most Office 365 subscriptions) was just announced.

I believe I mentioned this already but I think this will increase sales at the enterprise level. I know of several company / business owners (my husband being one of them) who have held off on buying all their employees iPads because they need Microsoft Office. He always said that if they (AAPL) ever make an arrangement where it (Office) can be put on - it's a no brainer. He was excited to hear today's news. I also have a friend who owns her business and she was waiting for this as well. I think it will spur more sales at the small business and corporate level.

AAPL ended up 2nd on the Buying on Weakness list with a ratio of 1.13. Again volume was low. All block trades were on upticks.
With such low volume hard to draw any meaning.
