What is the feeling here about the implementation of FATCA on July 1? I realize this could be considered political but I am just trying to see what the members here think the effect on Apple stock will be. Some out there think this will have horrible effects on the market in general and because of its foreign holdings even more dramatically on Apple. There has been a bill introduced to stop it by Rand Paul and I don't know if it has made progress or not. Alex Newman has written on this extensively in the New American---for example here www.thenewamerican.com/economy/item/17337-globalists-exploit-new-u-s-tax-law-for-world-taxation-regime. I am thinking of being completely out of the market this year and just wondered if any here are harboring such thoughts. I know this, rational thoughts on investing are inversely proportional to the amount you have at risk. At least for me. Lovemyipad if this needs to be moved put it where it goes.

Looks really bullish, pain doesn't look like it's holding us down this week.

Huberty has been both pretty accurate on iPhone trends and a "friend" to Apple. By which I mean she gets it, unlike many of the other 40 or so analysts covering AAPL. Nice.

Which is funny, because a few years ago it was quite the opposite. She used to be very negative on Apple early in the iPhone era and often underestimated the growth and earnings potential. You're right though, she has been much more accurate in the past year.

I left that part out. Analysts get better or worse sometimes. This analyst has improved lately.

It always brings a smile to my face to see the MM call sellers get torched on a Friday. We haven't closed above 610 yet, but this is a pretty impressive run for a Friday. The composure of this stock is changing, when is the last time you remember us closing up several Fridays in a row?

2:14 came about thirty minutes late today...look at that volume spike. Must have been due to a solar flare or something...space/time continuum thingy.

Samsung announced they'll be unveiling a Phone Watch as early as June/July. You can make calls, it'll have a camera, send & receive texts and have a health monitor function. And I'm guessing there'll be an optional keyboard you can strap to your forearm.

The last time that AAPL closed higher than today was Oct. 24, 2012: $616.83
But of course, the page hit whores came through with headlines like "Apple's Brutal Week Ends With Security Breach," and no, I'm not providing a link. May we have many more brutal weeks like this one (and yes, I know that Apple and AAPL are not the same).

Nice to see that my AFB capitulation call on April 15th when APPL was $517.96 may have been right. Great to see the lack of name calling around here now! Well done everyone. Should see an all-time high before the end of September and probably $142.85 during 2015. Huge revenue jumps coming over the next 12 months. Congrats on your iPad Air JD!

some guy on the developer boards posted this tidbit so im sticking to my iWatch prediction. Eric in Austin
I´m not gonna spoil it but read the clues.
The schedule list the following: It´s Going to be Great We´re Just Not Ready to Tell Quite Yet All in Due Time This One Is Still Under Lock and Key Cocoa Touch Lab Hang in There, We´ll Talk About This Soon
Thats the program in the WWDC app from Apple. Now look at the first letter of each event. It spells iWatch.
