Good morning and good-bye spring....tomorrow is the longest day of the year. Summer Solstice begins at 6:51 EDT. Maybe summer will warm the skies for AAPL's ascent
While you were sleeping:
Asia - mixed
Europe - green except for CAC 40
US futures - flat
AAPL in PM - flat

JPM's Rod Hall out with a research note on the iWatch and AAPL this morning as well:
Quanta to Start Mass Production of Apple’s Smartwatch in July: Quanta starts mass production of Apple’s first smartwatch in July with shipments coming in October, reports Reuters. According to the article, Apple will introduce a smartwatch with a display that likely measures 2.5" diagonally and is slightly rectangular. Apple reportedly expects to ship 50m units within the first year of the product’s release. (Reuters)
Our View: We believe that initial production targets are for around 9m units in the December quarter. We see a 50m unit target as possible in 2015 though we believe initial adoption acceleration could take a while - anecdotal discussions with non-geeks suggest people don’t find the use case for a smartwatch completely obvious (we actually believe they are great and this is based on just a so-so product experience with the Pebble).
The AAPL Tree: $AAPL Chart QuickTake, 06/19/14 Market Close: “L” is for Languid: aapltree.wordpress.com/2014/06/19/aapl-chart-quicktake-061914-market-close-l-is-for-languid/
Most news today is on the iWatch. There are dozens of articles - most saying the same thing. I posted only a few above.
Good luck today ~ it's quadruple witching in US markets which tends to add volatility. Enjoy your day!
