KWP ComTech: "Apple secure their highest ever sales share in the UK in the 3 months to Oct 2014" Update: "by some margin". Susquehanna raises price target to $135 from $120; rating positive. blogs.barrons.com/techtraderdaily/2014/11/24/apple-susquehannna-raises-target-to-135-iphone-demand-still-ahead-of-supply/Nice typo in the Barron's report: Shares of Apple (AAPL) are up 75 cents, or 0.7%, at $117.22, after Susquehanna Financial Group’s Chris Caso this morning raised his price target on the shares to $315 from $120, and reiterates a “Positive” rating, writing that his “checks” suggest that “apple is producing as much of the iPhone 6 Plus as they can” but that “iPhone demand is still exceeding supply.”

Some of the largest philanthropy for AIDS comes from the Hollywood crowd and yet many have signed deals with Samesung. Will be interesting to see if any get involved although I think not. never made a big enough push to get big film names (albeit a few) or athletes. At most it's been music personalities. Has ever done this type of fundraising before? I don't recall it has. So many other diseases that touch our lives so much more - specifically cancer. But then again, who am I to judge - it's nice they are being philanthropic.

Reports that the S5 sales were 40% below expectations and improved, initially, over the S4 in only one major market...the USA... Which didn't hold for long, are stunning.....down 50% in China...... By the way, in attempting to edit my post I inadvertently "liked" it. (It's not that good)

At the top of their list is a search for a new CCO (Chief Copying Officer).

I cannot find a technician that isn't looking for a pullback....so now I'm wondering if we will get one or may it be a little while longer before we do? Hmmmm.....

OTOH: there were many folks who were saying in 2007: “Buy land, they're not making it anymore," said Mark Twain, as lore would have it.

KGI's Ming Kuo. Est. 71 million 6 and 6 plus iPhones for the first quarter. Doesn't even include the old models in that number. If we get anywhere close to that then the numbers for the quarter will be absolutely HUGE. Apple will almost certainly have to come out with a pre announcement to update their estimates for the quarters earnings if they want to continue to stay in the more accurate range they have been in for the last year or so.

I was hoping that we could organize a get together at 120. It has been a long mentally tough challenge to stay long through the 700-400 decline and recovery and I think this community is a wonderfully stabilizing influence. I wanted to meet the people I have been reading over the past two years. But , alas, Apple is just moving up too fast. I thought we might have 6 months to plan before 120 and we may not have 6 hours. How about we try for something when we reach 142.86? Doesn't that seem like a good round number? And the first round is on me

118 is one of those prices that I used to tell myself (weeks ago - back in the 98 range), if hit BEFORE CHRISTMAS, I would lighten up.
Somebody talk me out of it.

AAPL IS correcting! It's correcting to a more reasonable valuation based on its revenues, earnings, cash flows, and future prospects!

Mumble grumble should have bought into the close on Friday
NET long AAPL here, fortunately!
It's an open secret that AAPL's ttm eps will take a *substantial* drop (well over 5%) in fiscal Q1. So the "inflated multiple" condition (while AAPL STILL lags the S&P, never mind the NASDAQ) won't continue for long.
Elevation is higher than ever, and AAPL still trading like a champ. Great to see.

Profit booked, however, I always seem to get the proverbial shaft when I do this. :/

Just sharing what some of the other techies are saying: One has a target of $122.75 then a bit of a pull back to the $105 area Another saying that if we go past $117.90 we go to $126.34 which is his 1.618x Fib target and then we possibly see the $105 pull back But like I said earlier - EVERYONE waiting for the pull back so maybe the pull back takes longer....Fibs have multiple extensions so anything can happen. I guess we need to get to some of the above levels and see what is happening but if the week continues like this I am going to buy one of those huge turkey legs like they used to sell at Disney World - put a crown on my head - place a bib on my chest and then take a huge bite! YAY!

Absolutely loving the buyback right now! Why? Because the stock price is up a whole lot while the market cap has plenty of room to run up, IMHO, being up only about 5% since the 2012 highs.
