Good Morning Everyone. All we need are a couple of more days like yesterday and it will all seem like a bad dream... AAPL is GREEN, trading at 116.30 +0.37 (0.32%) as of 6:37. Major Indices are all GREEN as well, though not by as much. So AAPL leads the way. In the news: WSJ Digits reports that Apple Deleted Rivals’ Songs from Users’ iPods. The action came when "a user who had downloaded music from a rival service tried to sync an iPod to the user’s iTunes library, Apple would display an error message and instruct the user to restore the factory settings, Coughlin [Attorney for consumers] said. When the user restored the settings, the music from rival services would disappear, he said." Apple CEO Tim Cook to be namesake of Alabama anti-discrimination bill. Articles in AppleInsider and MacNN. Have a great day. Let's make money.

Reported by street.com
Avago Technologies reported fourth quarter earnings of $1.99 that easily beat analysts' $1.68 expectations, helped primarily by strong sales of Apple's (AAPL) iPhone 6 for which the company builds components.

The caption under the picture reads "Munster and Guano on CNBC in 2011." This is why you talk your book. Because if you say something out loud enough times, it gets into people's heads. Friggin' morning chart is getting predictable, up the first hour, down around 7:30 (Apple is on the west coast, so yeah, pacific time).

Almost every stocks are down, what happen?
Even stocks up strongly early on, like AVGO and SWKS are pressurized.
Oil stocks gave back what they gain yesterday.

I liked it better when it was up... Would it be mean to make a Red-Commodore pun about that? More importantly, would it be funny? So this AAPL up first hour, then tanking at 7:30 thing is becoming a bad habit, no?

Markets very skittish today...up, down, up....the hangover from Apple's Monday tumble still weighing a bit, but this too will pass. (as will JD's kidneystones, due to first show themselves next week. )

Amex Gives TouchID a Vote of Confidence for Biz Cards In updating its core cards app for iOS late Tuesday, American Express has given a thumbs up to TouchID security for business cards. American Express is arguably the leading commercial card payments company in the world. Amex has more than 107 million cards in circulation. While Amex doesn’t definitively break out commercial vs. consumer cards — small business cards tend to skirt the line — the majority of its business is centered on commercial payments, by our estimate. And that is what makes Tuesday’s quiet upgrade of the Amex app interesting. By adding TouchID capabilities, Amex appears to be the most noteworthy commercial payments venture in the world to embrace the security feature, which centers on tokenization. Indeed, Amex said last month that tokenization would be made available at the beginning of 2015. Commercial bankers, you are now free to add TouchID features to your apps, too. bankinnovation.net/2014/12/amex-gives-touchid-a-vote-of-confidence-for-biz-cards/

God, I wish John Sculley would just STFU Guess I have to have faith that anyone who matters already feels the same. Even Steve Forbes was tweeting that shit. Newsflash: John Sculley ran off Steve Jobs and drove Apple towards bankruptcy. Sculley was responsible for that horrible Microsoft license that let them steal the Mac OS UI, and that PowerPC fiasco. You have Sulley Sullenberger give talks on transportation safety, not the captain of the Titanic.
