Good morning everyone. AAPL is off to a great start in pre-market trading GREEN at 112.65 +0.64 (0.57%) at 6:29. All major indices are nicely GREEN as well. Buckle up. Is that the count down to earnings I hear??? My god... multiple positive articles in the news... did I wake up in a parallel universe... am I dreaming... must need more tea... First Forbes has Apple's Dominant Camera Numbers On Flickr Threatens Canon's Supremacy. Though Canon still dominates in terms of number of photos submitted, Apple blows everyone away with 7 of the top 10 individual cameras being iPhones. That's disruption. The Wall Street Journal [$] has two positive articles about Apple, Slick, Useful Apps Put the Wow in Apple Watch and How Apple Watch Will Spawn Wave of Startups. True they kind of cover the same ground but positive link bait? Did Samsung cancel their Fox advertising contract??? MacNN reports Apple opens Games For Kids section of App Store over weekend. To prove I have not had enough tea... There is an Engadget headline this morning that starts Samsung's super-slim Galaxy A7 which I read as Samsung's super-slimy Galaxy A7. I better re-read my post... Have a great day. Let's make money.

My WAG:
I don't know why is waiting until Tuesday January 27th for the Earnings call. Last year, it was on Wednesday January 23rd, two days after the MLK holiday.
Is there an event scheduled for next week?
A music event encompassing iPods, Beats and iTunes?
time will tell.

What happened to all of that beautiful GREEN ? I simply do not get Wall Streets belief that falling oil prices are bad...

This is not only market related but it seems technical related. It's a damn shame that those who are more proficient in technicals don't add your two cents.

The technicians are probably busy trading.

Or making tea. Those leaves have to come from somewhere. I don't mind hearing from them when it is good news, but I don't want to hear anymore about retraces or death crosses. Denial is one of my most useful processes for controlling reality.

LEAPs options expire this week. Price action could be weird. Buying opportunities may present themselves.

Did anyone else notice all of the IBM commercials during the football games yesterday? No I was too busy having a wrist slashing party after the reversal of Dez Bryant's catch in the Cowboys game.

Well, we're still hanging in "the" channel. Close to bottom of it, hope it holds. Nibbled some more shares and some 2016 bull spreads. Hanging tight. In the past 3 days I've used Apple Pay at Panera, Walgreens, Macy's, Meijer and Staples. Flawless. Staples did ask for a signature. Asked the clerk why and she said "for security in case someone tries to use your phone". ? So the signature I scribbled isn't checked against anything , pointless. Some companies are so stuck in the past.

As a lifetime Mn Viking fan, I've gotten to enjoy living with Drew Pearson's pass interference non call touchdown against us for 37 some odd years now, welcome to the club.

As a lifelong Drew Pearson fan you should thank the Cowboys for sparing you the agony of a 5th Super Bowl loss. j/k :-)

I used to be a Vikings fan in the Bud Grant era. I met Drew Pearson after we won our company's flag football championship, he was related to one of our players and came to our celebration party. I had to give him grief over the play, jokingly, he was very gracious and joked back with me. But still a bad no call .
