I knew GOOG was gonna trade a little crazy. 706 to start?! Good thing I didn't sell the GOOG BPS until recently.
I do trade actively but not being as 4+ monitor dialed-in can, oddly enough, have its advantages every now and then.
Though I'm sure iPad bought a put strategy on GOOG this morning.

Quick question: Google are "in the green" this morning. Was yesterday's early release deliberate? Yeah, it was intentional. They knew how the stock would trade minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, after the release and their goal was to be up $1 today after being down massively yesterday. 10/10

$13 guidance would be ominous.
Sure bigger number with $17-ish EPS, but the YOY compare would look horrific any way you slice it. Even accounting for the enormous revs/earnings bases.
iPhone up 25-30%? iPad up 30-35%? That would be a sign of sharply slowing growth.

I would like to prepare those who want to be prepared for potential short-term price action. But I don't want to freak out those who have NO reason to freak out, as this is ONLY short-term noise.
So...I am going to post in the technicals threads...

Well I bought more April 13 calls. This is a sale that was unexpected.
Verizon numbers to me was proof enough that the iPhone number will blow us away last quarter and this quarter.
We have evidence that shows strong numbers and yet we are getting sold off. We did this last year in Nov.
No worries we should start to recover next week. If we don't get to $680 post earnings get ready to see 620 again.

Have you considered rolling some/all of it out to Nov for an additional credit?

The guidance for the quarter we are currently in MUST be at least 13. Thirteen is such a BEAUTIFUL number. It means Apple is making $1 Billion per week in profit. AAPL has a trailing EPS of 42.53. Apple is in the holiday quarter. Last year Apple reported $13.87 for this quarter. 16.64 would be a great number, a 20% increase. $16.64 would be an absolute disaster. Last year 4s was introduced in Q1 AND last year had an extra week in the quarter.

Attention shoppers: pace your dip buying! This is a technical breakdown underway. Let it shake out and see where it goes. Consider SCALING into new purchases. Do NOT panic sell -- this is the final leg of the correction!!

The selloff is utter BS but that 100-day was lost which is big for technicals traders. Huge volume day so stay sharp.

oh crap. <620. On a positive note for those with some cash laying around there is a fire sale going on BCS. I am into 690/715 Apr 13 that are hovering around 7. if we are at 715 come Apr next year thats a +200% gain. Been buying them for a while with average price is 8.33.

On another note. Whoever believes this decline on the NAS will continue take a look at QID (Ultrashort QQQ). Options with some volume are available!!!

Let's talk targets.
Downside - 605 (H&S part 2? Seriously)? 580-ish SMA-200 >> aggressive but not all in buy point if we get there. Certainly nothing too short term but it's just me.
Upside: Reclaiming the SMA-100, which may begin to lower a bit. 626 or so right now?
