14 Plus doesn't have dynamic island (their main marketing push).
14 is just a 13 with the inconvenience of no sim card slot.
13 Pro would be most sensible choice, but since it's gone it has to be 14 Pro.
Some definite signs of Timconomics in this years line up 😉 Downside is users new to the expensive/more durable Pro may be less inclined to upgrade as frequently.

Just as an heads-up, I updated to Venture on my M1 MacMini yesterday afternoon and I can’t login to ProBoards AFB. As you can see I’m still login on the iPad. There’s been many changes, as promised, but some of the changes seem to be for change only. System Settings is the most noticeable change for me. Old dog . . . New tricks.

15 minutes ago, I upgraded my M2 MacBook Pro to OS13 and I just logged on with zero issues.
I stand corrected, as I never logged out before I updated the OS, and I just logged out then tried to login and received an error. ☹️ So I’m posting this from my iPhone.☹️

Hey Chinacat - As I understand it all passkeys are generated by and kept on the iDevice or Mac, so nothing to Phish, Hack, get breeched or remember so much more secure. Cheers.

Some definite signs of Timconomics in this years line up 😉 Downside is users new to the expensive/more durable Pro may be less inclined to upgrade as frequently. I was wondering how durable iPhones have been recently for people here, and if there is a noticeable difference from the past, or between different recent models. So I created a poll: aaplfinance.proboards.com/thread/3583/iphone-durability-pollFWIW, our current ones (13 Pro, 11, SE2, SE3) all seem decently durable. Further back, our 8+ had lots of screens break, but only the first one was an Apple one, so it's hard to know the quality of those replacements. The Apple one broke for seemingly no reason, maybe some flex with the larger size? Before that it was a pair of 5+'s, which did ok but had one screen replacement. And our first ones were 4+'s, which did well but we probably babied them a lot, and initially had them in thick 3 layer cases. For us it seems like the recent ones are doing well. I managed to crack the glass on the back of my 11, but it was a hard enough fall onto granite that I could have broken my wrist if I landed on it, and the iPhone was in my pant pocket, so I figure that's reasonable.

Wow! This is a bit off-topic, but if Apple ever has a self-written article like this, it's past time to run away. www.sierrasun.com/news/tahoe-prosperity-center-helps-bring-5-million-award-to-region/It's like a Dilbert comic about management, but made into a full article. I thought with $5M, there might be something for a non-profit to see about. Instead it looks like hand-slapping, and meaningless management bingo words. Nice to see a little green today. Switching over to the 1 or 6 month charts, it's been quite a trip.

Two things making me apprehensive today: 1. Big tech earnings this week. Guidance may be perceived as light. 2. Talk about China retaliating for tech blocking issue. Some have said that they may use Apple as their target for retaliation.
I bought back some of the nearer dated puts (anything above 130) I sold over the last few years. Haven't sold any stock though.
And for the first time ever, I bought some QQQ puts just in case.

Wow, an impressive chart for today. Closed just off of the high of the day. And good volume.

They might blame it on Apple [again]. But much more likely it's ad spending on the decline due to recession apprehension.
