Everyone seems to expect a $30 move either positive or negative...I'm kind of thinking we'll be +/- onnly $5 or less. $30 move is what option market is forecasting. Just add ATM calls + puts to get $30.

Seems like the lead up to each call is more ominous than the last. Hope isn't a strategy but that's all we got for the next little while.
Good luck one and all.

Bullish Cross says Apple is increasing it's dividend by 15%/quarter? That's a massive amount...and distributing 100 Billion by 2016!
Wow

That is what killed us. We will see how WS reacts. I don't see the info regarding dividend or buybacks.

I'm "wishing" the stock goes up with this news, unless the focus goes ONLY on the guidance.

So I'll be the first to ask this, what the FUCK took them so long to give us this cash news? Total bullshit. Absolutely inexcusable to drag their feet this long.
And whether this is true or not, this release gives the appearance that they knew earnings/guidance would not please WS and they wanted to cover that up with the cash announcement.

What? They reported within guidance?! They're succumbing to gimmicks like larger buybacks?! I'm shocked!!
I guess I just don't get this company.

Apple going aggressive on margin.
"Coverup" theories commence (div + buyback with bad earnings guidance)
The transition continues.

OpEx continues to be very high. What's going on there? The same OpEx at $35B revs as at $54B?

Okay, so I got the $50B buyback that I was expecting. But I was wrong about the dividend hike ... I expected $3.25 rather than $3.05. But still, good enough. For now.

You're getting both a divvy and buyback.
So you can't expect "double-barreled" both.

hey they finally came out with what they are doing with cash, so can't really complain about that. we would have been quite pissed if they held off mentioning any of that.
