Now CNBC reporting "The deal has been delayed" ....
WTF .... There was NEVER a deal .... until either party announced which they didn't.
Frustrating to say the least ....

This deal / no deal thing is too good for the big pump and dumpers to give it up so easily. If they can keep riding a rumor up and then down again they will do so.

+1. The WSJ is no better than the bloggers now, or it just revealed what some of us have long suspected, doing Wall Street's work. Last Monday, I was one of the first here to post my skepticism about this CM deal. Both the screen grab and WSJ's so-called phone call which confirmed the official launch of iPhone on Dec 16th seemed a bit weak to be true. You want a cookie?

Apple sells every iPhone they make. I want a CM. Deal when they can supply more phones.

Bah. A deal is just a matter of time. A 'delay' does not hurt Apple's negotiating position.

Anybody trade on anything I post, or should I just stop posting?

Bah. A deal is just a matter of time. A 'delay' does not hurt Apple's negotiating position. On the contrary, it HELPS Apple's position. There are other carriers in China with the iPhone. IMHO ... F China Mobile .... from what I understand all the carriers are upgrading service and with that the smartphone becomes a much more important device ... if people want an iPhone they will simply switch carriers. Apple is in the driver's seat and I'd rather have no deal than a bad one.

Well, this isn't at all surprising. Anybody trade on anything I post, or should I just stop posting? You're one of the voices in my mix. We're at a couple of key levels here, in my inexpert readings of the chart. At the 50% fib level from 700 to 380, and about six points above the uptrend line anchored at the 6/28 low. The uptrend line worries me more than the fib.

Summary: CM is coming soon; nobody in NYC knows when. The 5C is not selling as well as forecast, but the sales are going to the higher margin 5S. Holiday iPad sales are reported strong. The greatest consumer computer ever will ship soon.
And let's not forget the Bernank is speaking today.
If 542 holds after he speaks, I am going to buy a BCS for a trade. Or maybe even a naked long call, with IV so nice. Was hoping to do this earlier at an even better entry point, but oh well.

Someone posted an article a few days ago saying number portability doesn't exist in China. So, yes, some die hard Apple fans will switch. But I'm sure there are a large percentage who won't switch carriers if they have to switch phone numbers. That is a huge pain in the a$$ regardless of which country you live in.

JD (aka: dumb bunny) think CM was priced in ? No fucktard, this run-up started well below 540, and I think the full value of the China Mobile deal will push us over 700. Any other questions?
