Nothing much to say this morning. Everyone out there throwing darts at what the potential iPhone sales numbers may be if China Mobile and AAPL announce. No one knows for sure - we'll have to wait till the first earnings report that includes them in order to get more color from AAPL management.....ALTHOUGH - MORE IMPORTANTLY - Will there be an announcement overnight or not? Will it be like the iPhone mini retina announcement....stealth. Where does the stock go then? I need a bigger brain...so many factors....and tons of emotions with this stock!

Not looking forward to the reaction here when there's either no announcement or the stock doesn't jump to $700 after.

I believe it was done at the iPhone launch, when they listed the countries they were launching in?

Not looking forward to the reaction here when there's either no announcement or the stock doesn't jump to $700 after. Not looking forward to any more of your posts. While the bedside manner of that post may need improvement, I think the sentiment is correct. The tone of most posts feels over heated to me re CM. Both regarding the certainty of a deal tonight or tomorrow and on the subsequent stock price reaction.

Not looking forward to the reaction here when there's either no announcement or the stock doesn't jump to $700 after. Not looking forward to any more of your posts. Then ignore me. Unlike many of you, I only care about making money. I'm emotionally attached to Apple, not AAPL. I'd rather see this board full of assholes who are right than a bunch of nice guys investing with their fingers crossed.

I said almost 2 weeks ago that China Mobile had already been priced in, but I was just hated on for it. With that said, I don't see a large drop coming and I don't see anyway CM isn't announced...it's all over their own website. The only question is when will sales start.

KWP ComTech China on Twitter: "Apple iPhone 5S tops November sales, but budget Xiaomi RedMi follows not far behind-an increasingly polarized market. Local Chinese brands move from 31% Smartphone share to 44% in just 6 months. Samsung under real pressure."

This is a good thing. The debate and uncertainty around china mobile announcing iPhone tomorrow is a bit in the air which means its not fully baked into the price. A good time to be buying straddles. We are going up or down a few pct tomorrow IMO. Take advantage of it

Whether or not it pans out, it is only natural to be hopeful especially when there are so many clues and hints. I doubt anyone has gone all in based only on the info to date. If it doesn't happen soon there will be disappointment, granted, but there's still no need to go out of one's way to be negative with a douche-y attitude, Doc.

We're like 4% off the 52 week high and probably 45% above the 52 week low. I'd say it looks strong in the grand scheme of things.

Volume and price action remind me of beginning of July. The calm before the storm. We went from 401 to 513 in 6 weeks.
Let's revisit sentiments first week of Feb.
I am only miffed I don't have any cash left to invest. All in and now calmly waiting for 2014.
The number of weekly calls at 580 and 590 surprised me, but then this week is acting like an earnings week.

We are going up or down a few pct tomorrow IMO. Take advantage of it I tend to agree that China Mobile is not fully baked in for a couple of reasons. The biggest is reports that China Mobile representatives allegedly stated negotiations continue. Then there are analyst reporting as few as 12 million iPhones will be sold through China Mobile for the calendar year 2014. That said, I expect AAPL to take a hit if no announcement is made that the iPhone will partner with China Mobile, I just don't know how big.

Good news from an Apple supplier:
Germany's Dialog Semiconductor increased its underlying revenue outlook for Q4. On October 29, Dialog outlined its outlook for underlying revenue in Q4 in a range of $270M-$295M. "Due to stronger than anticipated demand in its Mobile Systems segment, Dialog Semiconductor now expects to report underlying revenue in Q4 2013 of at least $310 million. This will result in full year underlying revenue of at least $866 million," it stated. Apple (AAPL) is Dialog Semiconductor's biggest customer.
(January 2013: The German supplier depends on Cupertino, California-based Apple for 37 percent of its revenue, data compiled by Bloomberg show).
